Brittney Basler

brittney beslerHello and welcome! My name is Brittney Basler and I have been caring for children for over 10 years, but my experience and passion for children started
even before that. When I was little, I was known as the “little mommy” because I always wanted to take care of kids that were younger than me. My brother is only 15 months younger, but it was me that taught him to use the “potty,” write his name, and tie his shoes- not because I had to, but because I wanted to. As a child, and now as an adult, children have always seemed to gravitate toward me.

I started babysitting for families in my neighborhood when I was only 12 years old. At 17, I was a temporary “nanny” for 3 years for a family of 3 kids for the summer months and holiday vacations. From there, I became a “support” preschool teacher where I was in charge of constructing lesson plans that were developmentally appropriate for age level 3 years to 5 years, teaching those lesson plans to the children, and creating a fun and safe environment for them. During the time I was a support teacher, I worked in a day care for several years where ages ranged from 3 weeks of age to 12 years of age. I currently have been in a management position for 7 years now. My company has an on site child care that I oversee and manage. We care for children as young as 6 months up to 12 years in age.

I have had a background check ran, and have been Trustline Certified and fingerprinted through the state of California. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science majoring in Social work in 2009 and have completed every child developmental course that one can think of. As I sitter, I can promise you someone who is dependable, responsible and trust-worthy. I can assure you that your children will be in a fun and safe environment where we can play, laugh, and grow. While temporarily away from your children you can have piece of mind knowing that your child’s safety is my #1 concern and priority while ensuring they
are having a blast follows closely behind. After all, it is their smiles that are most rewarding to me =)
